All new families begin with our New Client Application. This allows us to understand your dog’s personality, needs, and routine so we can determine whether Pawty Mansion is the right fit. Once reviewed, we will contact you with next steps.


Do you offer tours or viewings?

We do not offer tours. To maintain a calm, predictable environment for our current dogs, all visits occur only after an application has been reviewed and we feel we are a suitable match. If aligned, we schedule a personalized assessment.


What is an assessment?

An assessment is a structured meet and greet where your dog is introduced to the environment at their own pace. This allows us to evaluate comfort, temperament, and compatibility with our sanctuary setting.


Why do you require an application before an assessment?

Why is the assessment fee required?

We dedicate a significant amount of time and attention to every new family. The $30 assessment fee helps ensure we’re connecting with families who are genuinely interested in our style of home based care, and it is credited toward your first booking.

This step allows us to offer a calm, personalized, unrushed introduction where your dog is supported at their own pace, while preserving the peaceful, high quality environment our current dogs rely on.


Is full payment required to book?

Yes, full payment is required at the time of booking. We don’t take deposits, as this helps us reserve your dog’s space with confidence and maintain a small, stable group.

For families who prefer added flexibility, Afterpay is available for boarding bookings for 7 nights or more.


Do you offer refunds?

Bookings are non‑refundable, as we reserve space for a small number of dogs and plan our days intentionally around each guest. This helps us maintain a calm, predictable environment for the group.

If your plans change, we’re happy to offer a credit for future use or reschedule your booking to another available date.


What types of dogs are a good fit for Pawty Mansion?

We welcome dogs who thrive in a real home environment, whether they’re confident social butterflies or sensitive, quirky, and emotionally complex souls.

We prioritize emotional and physical safety for everyone in the home, ensuring each pup feels secure, understood, and compatible with the overall group dynamic.


Do you accept puppies?

Yes, we do. Puppies must meet our vaccination requirements and demonstrate appropriate social behaviour for a group environment.


What are your vaccination requirements?

For everyone’s safety, all dogs must be up to date on core vaccinations and flea/tick prevention. Proof of vaccination is required before any assessment or booking.


How does boarding work?

Boarding takes place inside our home, not a kennel. Dogs sleep wherever they feel most comfortable, on beds, couches, or designated quiet areas. We maintain a peaceful, supervised environment 24/7.

For dogs who prefer more privacy or structure, we also offer the option of a dedicated private room, which can be added as an upgrade based on your dog’s comfort and needs.


Why does Pawty Mansion take a limited amount of dogs?

We keep our capacity intentionally small to maintain a calm environment and provide thoughtful, individualized care for every dog. A limited group allows us to give each guest the attention, supervision, and emotional support they need to feel safe and relaxed in our home based setting.


Do you offer 24/7 on site supervision?

Yes. Pawty Mansion provides continuous, 24/7 on site supervision at all times, including overnight.


How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for holidays and peak seasons. Due to our limited capacity, spaces fill quickly.


Do you offer a waitlist?

Yes. If we are at capacity or your preferred dates are unavailable, you may join our waitlist. We contact families in order of alignment and availability.


What should I bring for daycare/boarding?

We provide all bedding, blankets, and toys to maintain a neutral, calm environment for the group. Personal items such as toys or comfort objects are not permitted, as they can trigger resource guarding or regression in a shared space.

Please bring only your dog’s regular food and any required medication.

If your dog is booked into a private room, you are welcome to bring personal items for that space, as it will remain exclusively theirs during their stay.


How do you communicate with parents during boarding?

We provide updates, photos, and check ins to ensure you feel connected and informed throughout your dog’s stay through our client portal. Also, parents will have access to our client dedicated Whatsapp and phone number 24/7.
